I love hats. I love this hat. I call it the Hat of Joy. Wearing makes me cheerful - and it seems to make random members of the public smile too. Small children get excited about it and openly point at it. Adults are more reserved usually, with a quiet smile. But this morning, a was greeted with a huge smile and "spectacular hat" from a chap in his 20s. Now *that* is a good start to the day :)
